This is our main savings product which makes you qualify as a member. It signifies your shared ownership of the Credit Union. This account also makes you eligible for a loan. A dividend is paid annually and is ratified by members at the Annual General Meeting. A minimum balance of $1,000.00 must be maintained in this account at all times.

General Deposit
Use this account to save towards short term commitments such as motor vehicle insurance, health insurance and utility bill payments. Start with as little as $1,000.00 and withdraw anytime without penalty.

Fixed Deposit Account
We offer excellent rates for fixed deposits. Place a minimum of $5,000.00 for a fixed period determined by you. Interest is paid monthly to your account.

Golden Harvest
A Golden Harvest Account is an excellent tool to assist with saving earnestly toward a specific goal. Once you are between the ages of 15-65 you may contract with us to deposit a monthly fixed amount to the account for a specified period of time. At the end of the period, you reap the lump sum you had been accumulating.

Your investment is guaranteed! In the event that you die or become permanently disabled so that you are unable to work, we will give you your savings goal. For example, if your savings goal is $200,000.00 and you die or become permanently disabled with only $10,000.00 in your account, we will give your beneficiary or you your savings goal of $200,000.00.

Christmas Club Account
BASCU is proud to be the pioneer of the Credit Union Christmas Club Savings product. Members are encouraged to commit to save a fixed monthly amount commencing December. At the end of the 12-month period you will receive your savings plus interest just in time for Christmas.

BASCU Unionette Account
Members may open accounts for their children under 16 years of age. This is an excellent way to encourage the young ones to develop the habit of saving.
